Acadia is an American success story that represents our greatest values; that our most beautiful natural places should belong to the people and be accessible to all. The park was created as a result of the efforts of its residents, who were led by Charles Eliot and George Dorr; they believed the island was too beautiful to be relegated to a playground of the elites of the Northeast. Eliot and Dorr, however, were far from the first to appreciate this special Island. Studies have revealed humans have inhabited the Island as far back as 12,000 years ago, and the island was first explored by European Sailors in 1524 and then again in 1525. The very first National Park East of the Mississippi, Acadia also happens to be one of the first places the sun rises in the United States. To celebrate fall on the island, when the trees showcase a stunning display of fiery oranges, yellows and reds, we’ve chosen a washed process Rwandan coffee with notes of Vanilla and Autumn Pastry.

Delicious Coffee!

Every coffee I’ve tried from Drive has been wonderful and Acadia is no exception. Smooth and balanced but still incredibly flavorful and aromatic with no excessive bitterness or acidity.

Just as good as the park

These coffee bean is one of the best I’ve tasted. Full of flavor and wonderfully roasted. Being a New Englander, I’ve always loved Acadia National Park and this coffee definitely earns the name on the can. Way to go DRIVE Coffee.

Great coffee!

I love the way this coffee smells when you pop the lid. It smells sweet, I assume from the acclaimed autumn pastry notes. It is smooth to drink and tastes excellent. I appreciate that Drive Coffee sends you their roasts at its freshest. The roasting date is usually within a week of receiving it!

Now 3.5lbs of coffee is a lot for just my wife and I, but this was not offered in the smaller cans without buying the whole collection. I wish it was though. I'm glad we like it because we will be drinking it for a while!
